Welcome to the Loughton Football Academy, the best facility in the south of England for 5-a-side football. We have 10 5-a-side 4th generation Astroturf pitches with inflatable surrounds, for your safety. With our magnificent state of the art facility we have attracted many professional national and international clubs including Stoke City and Shakhtar Donetsk from the Ukraine. Professional clubs have used our state-of-the-art facility as their training ground before their weekend Premiership game or their Champions League encounter with a London based club.

At The Loughton Academy we have 5-a-side leagues every day of the week which are played to a very high standard, in which teams from all over Essex and London participate.

Each day of the week we have 3 graded divisions in which there are 8 teams. The leagues are played over a 14 week period in which a ‘transfer’ window is available to register and de-register players. Match reports are also given to teams the following week. There will be awards for man of the match and top goal scorer at the end of each league. Our 5-a-side leagues attract ex-professionals with the likes of Teddy Sheringham, Steve Lomas, and John Moncur all showing the youngsters of Essex how to play the beautiful game.

After a great game of football we offer you the use of our Sports Bar and American Diner. Televised football is available every day of the week on our plasma screens of which we have 10.

 

Pay as you Play
Here at The Loughton Academy we are open 7 days a week, no matter what the weather. Our pitches deliver the best surface for you to play football on, whether it is one of our 10 4th generation Astroturf 5-a-side pitches which are floodlit, or our 7-a-side pitch which is also floodlit and available for pay and play, both our 5 a-side and our 7 a-side pitches are suitable for training sessions, or a ‘knock-around’ with your mates.

Both 5-a-side and 7-a-side pitches are available 7 days a week from just £20 an hour, the cheapest place to play football.
